Kadak Singh | Movie Review

An in-depth review of ‘Kadak Singh’ showcases Pankaj Tripathi’s compelling performance in this gripping and relatable thriller helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

In Anirudh Roy Chaudhary‘s latest thriller ‘Kadak Singh‘, Pankaj Tripathi delivers a captivating portrayal, diving deep into a compelling narrative that resonates with reality. Contrary to typical tropes, this isn’t a tale of a stern father but a human story entwined with themes of power, manipulation, and a labyrinth of vested interests that shape destinies.

The film revolves around AK Shrivastav, portrayed by Tripathi, an officer grappling with retrograde amnesia. Amidst his struggle to recollect his past, AK encounters multiple perspectives from his daughter, girlfriend, colleague, and boss, all claiming various roles in his life. As the narrative shifts seamlessly between flashbacks and present, a chit-fund scam unravels, prompting AK’s pursuit of truth.

Kadak Singh‘, co-written by Viraf Sarkari, Ritesh Shah, and Chowdhury, maintains a crisp 127-minute runtime, deftly weaving non-linear storytelling. While the narrative’s occasional disruptions occur, Tripathi’s performance, bolstered by a talented ensemble cast, elevates the film’s immersive quality, holding the audience’s attention throughout.
