“12th Fail” Box Office Collection Day 4: Vikrant Massey Film Earns 7.84 Cr Total
The box office collection for “12th Fail” starring Vikrant Massey has reached ₹7.84 crore after four days, showing a temporary slowdown on Monday following a strong opening weekend.
Vikrant Massey‘s inspirational academic drama, “12th Fail,” experienced a moderate slowdown on its fourth day at the box office.
The film, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, garnered an estimated ₹1.2 crore on Monday, as reported by Sacnilk.com. The movie’s total earnings now stand at ₹7.84 crore after four days since its release.
On Monday, “12th Fail” recorded a Hindi occupancy rate of 10.04 percent. The film opened at ₹1.2 crore, alongside Kangana Ranaut‘s “Tejas” on its release day.
It saw notable growth on Sunday, collecting ₹3.12 crore with a 24 percent occupancy rate, outperforming “Tejas,” which has yet to cross the ₹5 crore mark.
Comparing the two films, film business expert Girish Johar commented that despite Vikrant Massey’s relatively lower star status, “12th Fail” is bolstered by its strong content, leading to weekend growth.
On the other hand, “Tejas” faced challenges due to its content.
