
Woman Killed, Two Injured in Late-Night Crash on I-45 in Dallas County
DALLAS – A woman lost her life and two others suffered injuries after a late-night crash on Interstate 45 near the C.F. Hawn Freeway in southern Dallas County.
The collision occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Dallas police. Responding officers found two wrecked vehicles at the scene, including one that had overturned.
Dallas Fire-Rescue pulled a woman from the overturned vehicle and rushed her to the hospital, where she later died. Officials have not yet released her name.
A man and a woman inside the second vehicle also sustained injuries. Paramedics transported both to the hospital, and doctors expect them to recover.
Investigators believe the driver of the overturned vehicle experienced mechanical issues, which may have triggered the crash. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause.
