With the release of Sriram Raghavan’s holiday mystery thriller “Merry Christmas” just around the corner, lead actor Vijay Sethupathi shares insights into his collaboration with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif and his love for portraying villainous characters.

During a press conference ahead of the film’s release, Vijay Sethupathi expressed his admiration for Katrina Kaif, describing her as a methodical actor who meticulously plans each scene. He acknowledged her professionalism, stating that even in disagreements, she remains attentive and open to different perspectives.

When questioned about his inclination towards villainous or complex roles, Vijay Sethupathi playfully responded, “There’s no such thing. Everything is complex. Standing in front of the camera is always difficult. I enjoy doing villain roles so much. I can’t torture or kill anyone in real life. So when I get a chance to express it wholeheartedly.” He added, “Expressions are like tasting food. I want to taste it all.”

Merry Christmas” is scheduled for release on January 12, 2024, in Hindi and Tamil, promising audiences an intriguing cinematic experience with the unique combination of Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif.
