Vedaa Trailer to Drop This Week as John Abraham Starrer Gets Censor Certificate
John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s intense action drama, Vedaa, will release its highly anticipated trailer this week. The film has received its censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), fueling excitement among fans.
The teaser for Vedaa has already hinted at the high-octane stunts and fights audiences can expect. As the release date nears, anticipation for the full trailer is building. Reports reveal that the CBFC has granted the film a U/A certificate without any cuts.
The revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification certified Vedaa as U/A without a single cut. The makers need to include a disclaimer at the beginning, and the entire content received a clean chit from the certification body. The team of Vedaa feels very happy with the smooth process and appreciates that the CBFC team could relate to the important issue they are trying to address through the film.
This will be the first time John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh share the screen in what promises to be a high-stakes, action-packed film. The source added, “Vedaa is on track now for an August 15, 2024 release as all the hurdles are now off their way. The makers will extensively promote the film over 15 days and are confident to grab the attention of the audience with their strong content and pre-release assets.”
The trailer is expected to have a runtime of 3 minutes and 10 seconds and will be unveiled in the next few days. Besides John and Sharvari, the film features Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, and Ashish Vidhyarthi in key roles.
Vedaa will release on August 15, 2024, and will compete with other Bollywood films like Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein, alongside several South Indian releases.
