Triptii Dimri Responds to Jaipur Event Controversy, Denies Charging Fee for Appearance

Actress Triptii Dimri directly addressed allegations from Jaipur entrepreneurs, who claimed she skipped a Nari Shakti event hosted by FICCI FLO’s Jaipur chapter after charging a fee for her appearance. Event organizers accused Triptii of committing to attend on Tuesday but failing to show up. Triptii, however, denied these claims through a statement from her spokesperson.

The spokesperson clarified that Triptii, known for her roles in Animal and Qala, fulfilled all her professional obligations in Jaipur. “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri attended all scheduled appearances and sessions related to the film.”

The statement rejected any involvement with the event or any financial agreement with the organizers. “She neither participated in nor committed to any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. Furthermore, she did not accept any additional fees or payments for these activities,” the spokesperson said.

Earlier reports indicated that the event organizers claimed they had agreed to pay ₹5.5 lakh for Triptii’s appearance and considered taking legal action. A viral video from the event showed attendees vandalizing her poster and calling for a boycott, accusing her of deception.

Triptii visited Jaipur to promote her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which also stars Rajkummar Rao. The actors attended several promotional events before leaving the city. Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video releases in theaters on October 11, 2024.
