While a staggering $842.4 million Powerball jackpot found a winner in Michigan on Monday night, Texas also celebrated a substantial win as one lucky individual clinched a significant prize.

The winning numbers—21, 49, 44, 42, and 12—accompanied by the Powerball number 01, led to one Texan matching the five white balls, missing only the Powerball, ultimately securing a total prize of $2,000,000 with the Power Play.

Among these wins, three Texans claimed a notable $150,000 each, contributing to the statewide thrill and fervor surrounding the Powerball draw.

With the jackpot reset to $20 million, the forthcoming Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, offering yet another chance for enthusiasts to try their luck and vie for the coveted prize.
