Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan & Ammy Virk Reunite for ‘Zamana Kya Kahega’
After the moderate success of Khel Khel Mein, filmmaker Mudassar Aziz is ready to roll out his next production, Zamana Kya Kahega. The film will bring back the popular trio of Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, and Ammy Virk, who previously shared screen space in Khel Khel Mein.
According to reports, Zamana Kya Kahega is a situational comedy helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Amit Roy, marking his directorial debut. The project is slated to go on floors in September 2025 with a start-to-finish schedule, targeting a 2026 theatrical release.
The film will be shot across India and the UK, with its storyline revolving around a chain of humorous, event-driven situations. A source close to the development revealed, “Much like Happy Bhaag Jayegi, this one too is an event-based comedy, where situations pile up one after the other, leading to humour. Mudassar had discussed the subject with Taapsee, Fardeen, and Ammy during the shoot of Khel Khel Mein, and they were on board right away.”
While Aziz produces Zamana Kya Kahega, he is also directing another comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Wamiqa Gabbi. That project is already on floors.
With a promising cast and a fresh directorial vision, Zamana Kya Kahega is shaping up to be one of the most awaited comedy films of 2026.
