Sunny Deol’s Jaat to Release on April 10, 2025; Faces Clash with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab

Sunny Deol’s highly anticipated action drama Jaat is set to hit cinemas on April 10, 2025, coinciding with the Baisakhi weekend. The release date was strategically chosen to resonate with Sunny’s massive Punjabi fan base, as Baisakhi is celebrated on April 13. Fans can catch the teaser for Jaat alongside the theatrical release of Pushpa 2 – The Rule, a move announced by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind both films.

Initially, the makers considered releasing Jaat on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend. However, delays in post-production led to the decision to postpone the release. With no other major Hindi film slated for April 10, the date seemed perfect for Sunny Deol’s next cinematic outing.

The action-packed Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni, features a stellar cast, including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, and Saiyami Kher. According to Malineni, Sunny Deol plays a never-before-seen action avatar as a common man who challenges the system to fight for justice. Inspired by real-life events, the story promises to resonate with audiences.

Clash Alert: Jaat vs. The Raja Saab

Sunny Deol’s Jaat will clash with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, a Telugu film featuring the Pan-India star in a double role. Directed by Prabhas’ trusted team, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan and Sanjay Dutt. Though primarily a Telugu release, The Raja Saab will have a wide Hindi release, creating stiff competition at the box office.

Teaser Debut with Pushpa 2

The teaser for Jaat will first debut in cinemas, attached to the prints of Pushpa 2 – The Rule. It will then make its way to digital platforms, giving fans their first glimpse of the film.

With Sunny Deol fresh off the success of Gadar 2 and Prabhas’ immense Pan-India appeal, this box office battle promises to be one for the ages. Fans eagerly await both films to see how the clash unfolds.
