Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri Shine in Intense Dhadak 2 Trailer

The highly anticipated trailer for Dhadak 2 has dropped, unveiling a haunting and emotionally rich love story led by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Directed by debutante Shazia Iqbal, the film promises a bold take on romance that challenges identity, class, and power.

Siddhant Chaturvedi plays Neelesh, while Triptii Dimri stars as Vidhi—two people from opposing worlds brought together by fate and torn apart by circumstance. Their onscreen chemistry is intense and unfiltered, capturing vulnerability, longing, and quiet defiance in equal measure.

Unlike its 2018 predecessor, Dhadak 2 is not a direct sequel but a standalone narrative that revisits themes of forbidden love through a sharper socio-political lens. Dharma Productions, known for championing youthful stories with emotional depth, produces this film alongside Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures.

This marks Siddhant’s second project with Dharma after Gehraiyaan and Triptii’s second after the upcoming comedy Bad Newz. However, it’s the first time these two talented actors are paired together—and the buzz around their fresh pairing is already high.

The film also continues Dharma’s tradition of giving meaningful stories a mainstream platform. While the original Dhadak was a commercial success starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, this new chapter aims to offer a grittier, more grounded take on young love and rebellion.

Dhadak 2 is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Adar Poonawalla, and others. It will release in theatres on August 1, 2025.
