Sharvari says, “Vedaa is a very important film for me, for my survival and my growth”

Sharvari is experiencing a banner year with two major hits under her belt: Munjya, which grossed Rs 100 crore at the box office, and Maharaj, which has achieved global success on streaming platforms. Now, the actress is eagerly anticipating the release of her third film of the year, Vedaa. Early reactions to the trailer are highly positive, setting the stage for a potential hat-trick of hits.

Sharvari expressed her gratitude to her director and mentor, Nikkhil Advani, for the support and recognition she has received. She said, “I’m honestly just too happy right now to enjoy this moment, and I can have this special moment in my life because of Nikkhil Advani and his unflinching faith in me. I decided to be an actor for the love of the craft. I’m a director’s actor, and I submit to the story; that is my priority. What people are loving is all Nikkhil sir’s vision for Vedaa.”

The actress feels deeply indebted to Advani, who supported her when few others did. “I hope Vedaa becomes a huge success for us all. I’m very greedy; I want all my films to be hits! I came into this industry, my first film didn’t do well, and then I had to wait for 3 years because of the pandemic for my films to release and do well,” she explained.

Sharvari also expressed her appreciation for John Abraham, who has guided her throughout the project. “I want Vedaa to be a huge hit for Nikkhil sir, Monisha ma’am, Madhu ma’am, and especially John, who trusted me with this role and mentored me at every step. John’s guidance and advice will always ring in my ears. Working with the biggest action superstar of this country is a dream come true for me,” she added.

Finally, Sharvari thanked the audience for their support, saying, “The love that the trailer is getting is an incredible feeling for us all. I thank the audience for this love too. You are the reason I’m thriving in this industry. I owe it all to you.”
