Shah Rukh Khan Injured on King Set, Takes One-Month Break for Recovery
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has suffered an injury while filming intense action sequences for his upcoming film King at Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai. The 60-year-old actor, known for his dedication and physical commitment to roles, was performing stunts when the incident occurred.
Sources close to the production confirmed that SRK sustained a muscular injury. While the specifics of the injury are being kept private, the actor has reportedly flown to the United States for precautionary medical attention.
Post-treatment, doctors have advised Shah Rukh to take a one-month break from work. As a result, the next schedule of King has been postponed to September or October. The shooting was initially planned for July–August at Film City, Golden Tobacco Studio, and YRF Studios, but those bookings have now been cancelled.
King, an action-thriller to be shot across India and Europe, is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film marks a significant collaboration and is expected to push boundaries with high-octane action and global production value.
Despite the temporary delay, the team is confident that Shah Rukh will return in full form once recovered.
