Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is set to launch Sara Ali Khan’s debut in the biographical genre with “Ae Watan Mere Watan.” Scheduled for release on March 22, the period drama highlights the compelling role of Usha Mehta in India’s fight for independence.
According to reports, the teaser will be unveiled on International Women’s Day, March 8, adding to the excitement surrounding the cinematic debut. Directed by Kannan Iyer and featuring an ensemble cast, including Sparsh Srivastava and Anand Tiwari, the film promises an engaging portrayal of historical events.
