Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War to Begin Filming in October
Sanjay Leela Bhansali gears up for his highly anticipated project, Love and War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. After the success of his web series Heeramandi, Bhansali is ready to deliver another visually stunning and emotionally charged film. This film marks Vicky Kaushal’s first collaboration with Bhansali, while Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have already worked with the celebrated director.
A source close to the production revealed, “The film is generating excitement not only because of its unique title, Love and War, but also due to its impressive cast. Filming begins on October 24, 2024, launching a lengthy shoot schedule.”
Bhansali, known for his perfectionist approach, has carefully planned the production. His attention to detail suggests that the first schedule will be extensive, aligning with his grand vision for the project.
Ranbir Kapoor, who debuted in Bhansali’s Saawariya in 2007, and Alia Bhatt, who delivered a blockbuster performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022, will now share the screen with Vicky Kaushal, further heightening anticipation for this collaboration.
Love and War will hit theatres on March 20, 2026, and fans can hardly wait for what promises to be another Bhansali masterpiece.
