According to a source, the sequel is tentatively titled Jaanam Teri Kasam and will feature a new cast. The source mentioned, “The makers are in the early stages of the project and have only begun the casting process. The film is still in pre-production.”
The source also revealed that Jaanam Teri Kasam will be a musical. “It will have a new cast; the makers didn’t want to repeat the actors. Auditions are currently ongoing for the main leads, and the supporting cast will be finalized afterward,” the source added.

Elaborating on the upcoming project, the source shared, “Jaanam Teri Kasam will be a musical. The makers are searching for a female lead who can sing and has the looks and vibe of a singer, preferably between 18-20 years old. The film’s story will carry a vibe similar to Aashiqui 2.”
