Salman Khan to Appear in Varun Dhawan’s Baby John
The much-awaited union between Salman Khan and Atlee will happen soon, though perhaps not in the way some audiences had hoped. The Bollywood megastar and superstar filmmaker will reportedly join hands for a brief period, with Khan making a special appearance in the highly anticipated action thriller Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan in the lead. While details about Salman’s character remain under wraps, reports suggest that the superstar has given his nod.
Audiences will feel excited to see them reunite on screen after their collaborations in films like Judwaa 2 and Antim: The Final Truth. According to a Peeping Moon report, Salman has yet to shoot for his role in Baby John. He will share screen space with the SOTY actor in a mass action sequence expected to be quite extensive. The report further asserts that Salman will shoot for this appearance in August, depending on weather conditions.
Last month, many reports suggested that Salman Khan will collaborate with the Jawan filmmaker for a two-hero project, with names of several South superstars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan being mentioned. “Sun Pictures will produce the film, and they share a family-like bond with superstar Rajinikanth. Atlee, on the other hand, has been in touch with Salman Khan for the last two years. They feel confident to get both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan on board.”
Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff also star in Baby John, the official remake of the Thalapathy starrer Theri (2016). Atlee produces the film, directed by Kalee, and they expect to complete the shoot schedule soon. Initially slated for a June release, it has now been pushed to a Christmas release on December 25.
