Salman Khan Returns to Mumbai Amidst Heavy Security Following Dubai Event and Firing Incident

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has returned to Mumbai after attending a Karate Combat event in Dubai, surrounded by heavy security personnel following a firing incident near his residence.

Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s most prominent figures, has made his way back to Mumbai after a recent trip to Dubai. This return comes after a gunfire incident near his Bandra residence, which left many shaken, including his fans and the film fraternity.

Khan made a significant entrance upon his return to Mumbai, with a notable security presence accompanying him. On Sunday morning, observers caught sight of him at the Mumbai airport, flanked by his trusted bodyguard Shera and a substantial police entourage. Despite the recent turmoil, the actor appeared calm as he donned a casual attire of a black T-shirt and white pants.

The firing incident took place on April 14, when two men from Bihar, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), allegedly opened fire outside Khan’s residence. The CCTV footage depicted the accused firing in the direction of the apartment, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Mumbai Police has taken up the investigation and identified the accused as having connections with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

In response to the threats, Salman Khan was authorized to carry a personal firearm and reportedly acquired a new armoured vehicle for additional protection. The Mumbai Police have also increased security measures around Khan’s residence, with the actor now under Y-plus category security, a high level of security detail reserved for high-profile individuals facing serious threats.
