Salman Khan Begins Shooting Battle of Galwan in Ladakh — First Glimpse Out

Salman Khan has shared his first image from the sets of Battle of Galwan. The post confirms that shooting has started in Ladakh. Just days ago, the superstar was seen leaving Mumbai for this schedule, sparking major buzz among fans.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film retells the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. The Ladakh schedule forms the film’s core, with Lakhia set on capturing large-scale action with authenticity.

The production team had built elaborate sets at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios. But Lakhia scrapped the plan. He shifted the entire shoot to Ladakh, believing real locations were vital to preserve the story’s intensity.

Two days earlier, Salman flew out of Mumbai with his Z-category security team. His travel confirmed the team’s dedication to filming in tough but authentic conditions.

Shooting in Ladakh is not easy. The cast and crew must battle thin air, extreme weather, and rough terrain. They will also perform heavy action scenes, with reports hinting at sequences filmed in icy waters. Salman has admitted that such high-altitude shoots push him physically.

Battle of Galwan features Salman Khan in the lead role. The film aims to showcase the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the 2020 clash. With its focus on realism, it promises a stirring mix of patriotism and action.
