Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was gravely injured during a shocking robbery attempt at his Bandra residence in the early hours of the morning. The incident, which occurred between 2:00 AM and 2:30 AM, unfolded when the actor awoke to strange noises in his home. Upon investigating, he confronted an intruder, leading to a violent scuffle.

Saif sustained multiple stab wounds, with two being severe. One of these injuries is dangerously close to his spine, raising additional concerns among medical professionals. Despite the severity, his injuries are not life-threatening. As of 9:00 AM, the actor is undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital, where a specialized medical team is attending to him. This team includes renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.

Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, revealed that Saif was stabbed six times, with the deep wounds necessitating complex surgical intervention. One of the injuries on his wrist may require plastic surgery, adding another layer of urgency to his treatment. The actor was promptly rushed to the hospital by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and a house help.

In an official statement, Saif’s team confirmed the incident, urging patience and understanding from fans and the media. “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation,” the statement read.
