Roller Coaster Weather Ahead: Warm Start to the Week in North Texas, Then Cooler Temperatures and Rain Chances

North Texas is in for a weather roller coaster. The week begins with warm temperatures reaching the low 80s but transitions to cooler weather and possible rain, according to the National Weather Service.

North Texas residents can expect a weather roller coaster this week, with a warm start followed by cooler temperatures and rain chances. According to the National Weather Service, the first half of the week will see high temperatures reaching the low 80s.

Meteorologist Patricia Sanchez stated, “Right now, we’re going to have a warm start to the week before we transition to a wetter period at the end of the week.” While a cold front may bring rain on Thursday, it is not expected to lead to severe weather.

Although record highs for this time of year are in the upper 80s, it appears that this week’s heat won’t break any records.

Here’s a summary of the week’s forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: Sunny, high near 82°F.
Tuesday: Sunny, high near 83°F.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high near 82°F.
Thursday: Chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 67°F.
Friday: Mostly sunny, high near 64°F.

Keep an eye on the weather as the week progresses to plan accordingly for the cooler temperatures and potential rain showers.
