Reward increased to $35,000 for info on Arlington officer’s death.

An Arlington business has given $10,000 to increase the award for data in the quick hit and run death of motorcycle official Darrin McMichael.

Hart HVAC provided the latest contribution to Crime Stoppers for the reward fund. Crime Stoppers originally offered a $5,000 reward.

Oak Farms Dairy recently offered $15,000; a mysterious contributor contributed $5,000.

There is a $35,000 compensation for data about Official McMichael’s death.

McMichael was riding his bike to work on Sept. 21 when he hit an SUV before him on Highway 20 in Dallas as traffic was dialing back.

He tumbled off the bicycle, and one more driver rolled over him. That driver continued onward.

Specialists have yet to have the option to track down that driver.

They have limited details and have only said the hit-and-run driver was in a dark sedan, possibly a Dodge or a Chrysler.
