Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri bring a wave of nostalgia with their upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, revealed in a playful teaser dropped by the makers on Wednesday. In the teaser, both actors appear as 90s-style TV news anchors on a vintage television set, humorously announcing the film’s producers during a mock breaking news segment.
The teaser highlights their chemistry and wit, with Triptii calling Rajkummar “a purush from Stree,” and Rajkummar humorously introducing Triptii by singing Pehle Bhi Main, a nod to her film Animal. The film, a “pure 90s experience,” will unveil its trailer on September 12.
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series produces Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, with Raaj Shaandilyaa directing. The movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, and more.
Rajkummar Rao continues his streak after Stree 2 and Mr and Mrs Mahi, while Triptii Dimri builds on her performance in Bad Newz alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. This film will blend humor, nostalgia, and star power, taking audiences on a 90s-inspired ride.
