Pushpa 3: The Rampage to Release After Six Years, Allu Arjun Focuses on Other Projects
Fans eagerly awaiting the third installment of the Pushpa franchise will have to exercise patience. While Pushpa 2: The Rule has been a massive success, director Sukumar and star Allu Arjun have hinted that Pushpa 3: The Rampage may take six years to hit the big screen.
The delay stems from Allu Arjun’s packed schedule. After returning to cinemas in December 2023 with Pushpa 2 following a two-year break, the National Award-winning actor is now committed to other projects. Reports suggest his lineup includes a collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas and other high-profile films.
Director Sukumar also plans to explore new ventures, including a project with Ram Charan. These overlapping commitments have pushed the anticipated start of Pushpa 3 to 2028 or 2029, as per industry insiders.
Adding to the excitement, rumors suggest Vijay Deverakonda might join the cast as an antagonist. His potential role would add an intriguing twist, especially given his rumored connection with Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli, Pushparaj’s wife in the franchise.
While fans will have to wait, the extended timeline gives Sukumar and his team ample time to create another masterpiece. Until then, audiences can enjoy the thrilling drama of Pushpa 2 while looking forward to what promises to be an explosive finale with Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
