The Hindi Film Trade is buzzing with excitement as two market leaders, AA Films and Pen Marudhar, acquire some of the top Pan India Films for hefty prices, bringing some life to the film industry. The biggest theatrical deal goes to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, with Anil Thadani acquiring the North India rights for a whopping Rs. 200 crores. This is the biggest deal in the Hindi Film Trade, and it sets a new record for the industry.
The second biggest deal goes to the Prabhas and Deepika Padukone film, Kalki 2898 AD, with Anil Thadani acquiring the theatrical rights for Rs. 100 crores. This is the second biggest deal in the trade, and it shows the confidence of the distributors in the film’s potential.

Next in line is NTR’s Devara, which has been sold to Anil Thadani for a sum of Rs. 45 crores. This is a very good amount for a rural film of coastal Andhra with a lesser-known director, and it shows the potential of regional cinema in the Hindi Film Trade.
Finally, the Kamal Haasan-led Indian 2 has been acquired by Pen Marudhar for a sum of Rs. 20 crores. This is a sequel to a cult film, and it has the potential to change the tides and emerge as a big money spinner.
