Prime Video Expands Maddock Films Partnership with 8-Movie Exclusive Multi-Year Deal

Prime Video announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Maddock Films, securing worldwide streaming rights to eight upcoming titles. Prime members in over 240 countries and territories will be able to watch these films shortly after their theatrical run.

The partnership covers releases between 2025 and 2027, including new films from Maddock’s hugely successful horror-comedy universe. The slate features Thama along with two more titles that will be revealed later. After the blockbuster run of Stree 2 in theatres and on streaming, Prime Video aims to expand Maddock’s reach to an even larger global audience.

Other confirmed projects include Param Sundari (starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, hitting theatres August 29, 2025), Shiddat 2, Badlapur 2, and Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan with Agastya Nanda in the lead. Maddock will also unveil more films under this deal in the coming months.

Dinesh Vijan, CEO and founder of Maddock Films, said,
“We’ve always believed in creating stories that surprise, entertain, and connect. Prime Video shares that vision, and this deal helps us take Indian storytelling to a truly global stage.”

Manish Menghani, director and head of content licensing at Prime Video India, added,
“This collaboration brings some of India’s most exciting films to worldwide audiences. From horror-comedy blockbusters to beloved franchise sequels, Maddock continues to deliver originality and fresh storytelling.”

This agreement strengthens the Maddock–Prime Video partnership that previously delivered Stree, Stree 2, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and the Prime Original series Jee Karda.
