Param Sundari Trailer: Janhvi Kapoor & Sidharth Malhotra Spark Romance in Kerala-Set Love Story
The much-awaited trailer for Param Sundari is here, and fans can’t stop talking about it. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the romantic drama stars Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Tushar Jalota, it will hit theatres on August 29.
Set in scenic Kerala, the film blends lush backwaters, monsoon streets, and historic churches. This backdrop perfectly frames the North-meets-South love story. The trailer even features a romantic sequence that reminds viewers of Bollywood’s iconic on-screen couples.
Janhvi Kapoor appears in graceful chiffon sarees throughout. Speaking about her role, she said, “Sundari is deeply personal to me. Her grace, strength, and love for her roots connect to my own South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala made me feel an emotional bond with her world. I hope audiences feel that too.”
Sidharth Malhotra plays Param, a Delhi-based Punjabi munda. He brings charm, sincerity, and old-school romance to the role. “With Param Sundari, I’m revisiting the kind of love stories I grew up watching,” he said. “It’s fresh yet nostalgic. Kerala’s beauty brought our vision to life, and I hope people feel the warmth we felt while making it.”
Director Tushar Jalota described the film as “a celebration of differences.” He added, “Two distinct worlds collide, yet they create something beautiful. Kerala gave us timeless visuals, and the story gave us emotional depth.”
The soundtrack, by Sachin–Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, is already trending. Tracks like Pardesiya and the monsoon-themed Bheegi Saree are winning hearts.
With its scenic visuals, heartfelt romance, and soulful music, Param Sundari is set to be one of the year’s most anticipated love stories. The film releases nationwide on August 29.
