Nikki Haley’s Gears Up for Texas Campaign Rally Ahead of GOP Primary Showdown

Join Nikki Haley in Dallas for a pivotal campaign rally as she vies for the GOP presidential nomination against Donald Trump.

In a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, Nikki Haley, the prominent contender against former President Donald Trump, is set to energize her campaign with a rally in Dallas, Texas. Scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Gilley’s Dallas Southside Music Hall on 1135 Botham Jean Blvd, this event is a crucial part of her Texas campaign swing, including stops in Houston and San Antonio.

Former Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, part of the Texas support team for Haley, expressed excitement about the upcoming rally, emphasizing the importance of recognizing an alternative to Donald Trump. The move comes just over a week before Haley faces a significant challenge in the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24.

Despite being the former governor of South Carolina and a former United Nations ambassador under Trump, polls suggest a substantial lead for Trump in the South Carolina primary. The Texas primary is scheduled for March 5, with recent surveys indicating a commanding 61 percentage point lead for Trump over Haley.

Texas, a key battleground, has seen major Republican figures like Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, House Speaker Dade Phelan, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller endorsing Trump. However, Haley’s supporters remain undaunted, expressing optimism about her potential to offer a compelling alternative to the GOP base.

As the political landscape intensifies in the lead-up to the primaries, Nikki Haley’s Dallas rally stands out as a crucial moment in her campaign, aiming to resonate with voters in the Lone Star State and beyond.
