Mr. and Mrs. Mahi Makers Unveil Release Date for Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor Starrer
The makers of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, a sports drama featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, have announced the release date for the highly anticipated film.
In a recent announcement, the makers of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi have unveiled the release date for the upcoming sports drama starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. The film, which revolves around cricket, is set to release on May 31, much to the excitement of fans who have been eagerly awaiting the duo’s second collaboration.
Mr. and Mrs. Mahi marks Janhvi Kapoor’s first foray into sports films, with the actress reportedly essaying the role of a cricketer in the movie. To ensure authenticity, Kapoor has undergone extensive preparation, including physical transformation and attending workshops to learn the sport.
Rajkummar Rao, who is also gearing up for the release of Srikanth: Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne in the same month, will have another film to look forward to in May. The makers had previously announced an April release date, but later decided to push it back to May 31.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. The film is expected to release in theatres on May 31, following which Kapoor is set to begin work on the political thriller Ulajh, which is reportedly aiming for a July release.
