Zee5 original series, Mithya, is back with the second season, titled Mithya: The Darker Chapter. The trailer of the show was released on Monday, October 21, and as the title mentions, it appeared darker and more mysterious than the first. Starring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani in the lead, the series welcomed a new addition this time. The TVF Pitchers fame Naveen Kasturia joined the cast in the fresh season of the show.
Directed by Kapil Sharma, who also helmed the first season, Mithya: The Darker Chapter, it seems based on the ‘blood versus blood’ conundrum, which has been explored in many series and films, including the globally reverred Game of Thrones.
Mithya Season 2 looks like a whole package of drama, emotions, mystery, thriller and a complete web of lies being combined with family ties. It is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Rose Audio Video Visual Production.
The series will begin streaming from November 1 on Zee5 as a Diwali special.
