Manoj Bajpayee’s “The Fable” to Premiere at Berlin Film Festival Key Competitive Section
Manoj Bajpayee starrer “The Fable” is set to make history as the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in a key competitive section at the Berlin Film Festival.
Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming film, “The Fable,” is set to have its World Premiere at the 74th edition of the Berlin Film Festival (BFF). Directed by Raam Reddy, this marks only the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in one of the festival’s key competitive sections, the Encounters Competition.
“The Fable” is Raam Reddy’s second feature, following the success of his multi-award-winning film “Thithi.” Featuring an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose, and more, the film is poised to make its mark on the international stage.
Expressing his happiness, Manoj Bajpayee stated, “Joining the cast of ‘The Fable’ has been a remarkable experience. Our film’s presence at Berlinale signifies the global reach and artistic caliber of Indian storytelling.”
Director Raam Reddy expressed gratitude, saying, “The Fable is not just a film but an unadulterated piece of my soul.” The film, backed by veteran producer Sunmim Park, is expected to showcase the global appeal of Indian cinema at the Berlin Film Festival. The last Indian film in the Encounters Competition was in 2020, and “The Fable” is set to continue this legacy with its highly anticipated premiere.
