Makers of Stree 2 Gear Up for Special Night Screenings on August 14

Dinesh Vijan-produced Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi, stands among the most anticipated films of the year. The countdown for its release has begun, and the Hindi film trade eagerly awaits the movie to set the cash registers on fire during the Independence Day weekend. While the makers have officially announced the film’s release on August 15, there’s an exciting update for Stree 2 fans.

Dinesh Vijan, Jio Studios, and director Amar Kaushik plan to hold special night screenings of the film on August 14. “For Munjya, Dinesh Vijan planned an innovative release with midnight screenings. With Stree 2, he is going a step ahead by hosting special paid previews of the film on August 14. The show timings will start post 7.30 pm, allowing fans to watch the film on the eve of Independence Day,” said a person connected to the project.

The insider explained that they made this decision to capitalize on the excitement surrounding Stree 2. “The night shows of August 14 usually run to packed houses due to the holiday on August 15. The team is capitalizing on this by scheduling limited shows expected to sell out quickly. They will host the screenings of this Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao film all across the country, with tickets going live for sale on all digital platforms,” the source added, noting the team’s confidence in their content.

For those unaware, Stree 2 is part of Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe, which connects all previous films in the universe and establishes the timeline for future projects. The film will feature numerous unexpected cameos, which audiences can look forward to witnessing when it releases on August 14.
