The star of the match was undoubtedly Virat Kohli, who celebrated his 35th birthday by playing a monumental innings. Kohli’s century equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s remarkable record of 49 ODI centuries.

Despite challenging conditions, Kohli’s century was the cornerstone of India’s impressive total of 326/5 in 50 overs. The Indian team started aggressively, with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill taking on South African bowlers.
