Kartik Aaryan’s Relatives Die in Ghatkopar Hoarding Collapse, Actor Attends Funeral

Actor Kartik Aaryan mourns the loss of his relatives in the Ghatkopar hoarding collapse tragedy, attending their funeral amidst preparations for his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’.

 

Actor Kartik Aaryan’s family suffered a devastating loss in the tragic hoarding collapse in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. Two of the casualties identified were Air Traffic Control (ATC) general manager Manoj Chansoria and his wife Anita, who were relatives of the actor. Aaryan, currently engaged in promoting his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion‘, took time to attend their funeral on May 16 at the Sahar crematorium.

The collapse, occurring on May 13 amid heavy rain and dust storm, claimed 16 lives and left many injured. The hoarding, situated near the Police Ground fuel station along the Eastern Express Highway, collapsed due to adverse weather conditions. The owner responsible for the hoarding has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Despite the personal tragedy, Aaryan continues to focus on his professional commitments, with ‘Chandu Champion‘ set for release on June 14. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film’s trailer will be unveiled in Aaryan’s hometown of Gwalior. Amidst preparations for the film’s launch, the actor’s presence at his relatives’ funeral reflects his grief and solidarity with his family during this difficult time.
