The anticipation has come to an end! After a slew of posters, teasers, and delays, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the film’s trailer on Monday. Nag Ashwin directs this post-apocalyptic movie, drawing inspiration from Hindu scriptures and setting the story in the year 2898 AD. Prabhas stars as Bhairava, an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, while Amitabh Bachchan plays the immortal Ashwatthama. Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani also take on key roles.
Originally slated for release on May 9, Kalki 2898 AD experienced delays and now has a global premiere set for June 27.
