Recalling the heart-wrenching moment they received the news about their mother’s demise, Janhvi emotionally shared, “I could hear wailing from Khushi’s room when I got the call. I rushed in, crying, and she stopped crying the moment she looked at me, comforting me. She’s never cried about it since.”
Khushi Kapoor expressed her perspective, admitting, “I felt I had to be the strong one for everyone.”
Reflecting on Khushi’s resemblance to Sridevi, Janhvi highlighted, “Khushi is quiet, much like Mumma, but in front of the camera, she just explodes.”
Sridevi tragically passed away in 2018 in Dubai while attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The cause of her death was later revealed as accidental drowning, leaving an indelible mark on her family and the film industry.
