The much-awaited mythological sci-fi flick ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will feature Amitabh Bachchan as the immortal Ashwatthama. After the makers dropped a poster and teaser to unveil his character in the film, social media has been abuzz with praises. The upcoming film also starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will feature the seasoned actor as a central figure from Ved Vyas’ Hindu epic Mahabharata. The Nag Ashwin directorial is loosely inspired from the epic but also has a sci-fi fantasy theme.
‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ also stars Kamal Haasan alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies. There are no updates about the release date of the mythology-inspired sci-fi film as yet.
