Imran Khan Confirms Relationship with Lekha Washington; Addresses “Misogynistic” Narrative Against His Lady Love

In an interview with Vogue India, Khan addressed rumors surrounding his personal life, confirming that he and Washington grew close after his separation from ex-wife Avantika Malik in February 2019. Khan emphasized that the speculation about their romantic involvement is true, asserting his status as divorced and separated since early 2019.
Moreover, Khan confronted the “misogynistic” narrative labeling Washington as a “homewrecker,” expressing his frustration with such portrayals that undermine his agency as an individual. Despite maintaining a private life post his acting hiatus since 2015’s “Katti Batti,” reports hint at a potential comeback to acting, with speculations of a collaboration with director Abbas Tyrewala, who directed Khan’s debut film “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na”.
