Housefull 5 Cast Unveiled: Five Female Leads Join Akshay Kumar for 2025 Release
The highly anticipated fifth installment of the Housefull comedy franchise will feature a fresh twist with five prominent female leads alongside Akshay Kumar. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has assembled an impressive cast for this upcoming comedy, set to hit theaters in 2025.
Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, and Soundarya Sharma will join Akshay Kumar in Housefull 5, bringing a new dynamic to the series. This installment promises a mix of eccentric characters and unexpected humor, as the franchise transitions from its traditionally male-dominated cast to an ensemble with equal female representation.
Filming for Housefull 5 will commence on September 15 in London. The cast and crew will embark on a 45-day shooting schedule, starting with scenes set in the bustling city before transitioning to a comedic cruise setting. A source revealed, “They will shoot some sequences in London first, and then board the cruise where the entire house will come down with confusion and laughter. Apart from the key actors, the film will feature numerous supporting roles, highlighting the madness the makers aim to create.”
The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, will also include a range of supporting actors such as Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and Dino Morea. While details about Kumar’s character remain a secret, sources suggest it will be as memorable as the beloved “Sandy and Sundi” from previous films.
Housefull 5 aims to continue the franchise’s legacy of humor and chaos, with a unique mix of fresh talent and returning favorites.
