Guns and Gulaabs | Review

Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan starrer Guns and Gulaabs, released on the OTT platform today, left fans speechless.

Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan starrer Guns and Gulaabs, has finally hit the OTT platform. The Raj and DK-directed show is set in the backdrop of the 90s in the world of crime and violence. This series is a complete package of love, innocence, and humor in the unpredictable town of Gulaabganj. This is the first time the duo has come together on Netflix.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK said, “This time we went back to our favorite territory… embracing the storytelling style of our earlier films (99, Shor In The City). And somewhere along this process, we created a genre mash in a pulpy, retro style.” The show hit the screens today, and fans have excellent film reviews.

The visuals are phenomenal, and Raj & DK manage to create a fictional world that looks very believable. The story arc of Arjun’s track is done well, exploring various shades of human behavior, the same for Jr. Ganchi, who is on a journey to prove himself. The use of music to create a nostalgic environment is well integrated into the plot.
