Fire at Hooters in Downtown Dallas Injures Firefighter
DALLAS – A two-alarm fire broke out at the Hooters Restaurant in Downtown Dallas, resulting in one firefighter being hospitalized. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene at 11:23 a.m.
The first crews on the scene reported seeing a light haze in the building, prompting a second alarm shortly before noon. Firefighters managed to control the blaze shortly before 2 p.m.
During the firefighting efforts, one firefighter sustained minor injuries to the head, face, and leg. They were taken to Parkland Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
