Fatal Head-On Collision Kills 6 in Johnson County, Injures 3

A tragic head-on collision on U.S. Highway 67 in Johnson County resulted in 6 fatalities and 3 injuries.

A devastating head-on collision on U.S. Highway 67 in Johnson County has claimed the lives of six individuals and left three others injured. The incident unfolded during rush hour at the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and County Road 1119 in the Nemo area on Tuesday.

According to the Department of Public Safety (DPS), a pickup truck and a minivan were involved in the collision, resulting in the tragic loss of six lives. Emergency services promptly attended the scene, transporting the injured to Fort Worth hospitals for treatment.

As a consequence of the crash, U.S. Highway 67 has been closed between CR 1120 and CR 1234, and authorities anticipate prolonged closures to facilitate investigations and scene clearance. Commuters are strongly advised to steer clear of the area while authorities work tirelessly at the scene.

At present, the identities of the deceased and the injured remain undisclosed as investigations continue into this heartbreaking incident.
