Dunki Advance Booking Hits 1.4 Lakh Tickets: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Gears Up for 5 Crore Opening Day

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ racks up 1.4 lakh pre-sold tickets, signaling an estimated ₹4.45 crore collection on day one, while gearing up for a clash with Prabhas’ ‘Salaar: Ceasefire’ in a highly anticipated box-office face-off.

As the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s anticipated movie, ‘Dunki,’ approaches, the advance booking frenzy intensifies. Reports indicate an impressive tally of 1,44,186 pre-booked tickets for 6,394 shows on the opening day, hinting at an initial collection of around ₹4.45 crore in India.

This advance booking record, revealed by Sacnilk.com, forecasts a promising start for the Rajkumar Hirani-directed film, starring Shah Rukh Khan alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

However, ‘Dunki‘ faces a showdown with Prabhas’ ‘Salaar: Ceasefire,’ slated for release a day after on December 22. The clash has fans and industry insiders abuzz, with ‘Salaar’ having already sold 16,000 tickets worth ₹55 lakh for its Hindi version.

While ‘Dunki‘ surges ahead in Hindi 2D bookings, the competition between the two films adds anticipation to their box-office showdown, with ‘Salaar‘ set to unveil its Telugu show pre-sales after the trailer launch.
