Dream Girl 2 | Movie Review

Although many fans were impressed with Ayushmann Khurrana’s performance as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, some felt that the film was rushed.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday‘s Dream Girl 2 has finally hit the screens. Many who watched the film shared their reviews on the social media platforms. The reaction was mixed; some called it ‘entertaining’ while others called the humor ‘cringey.’

What did fans love?
Dream Girl 2 directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, revolves around a young guy named Karam (Ayushmann), who finds himself in a crisis and then decides to marry the son of a wealthy businessman. A fan wrote, “Just watched #DreamGirl2 &i must say it a fun watching film. Very Entertaining. Truly refreshing. Finally, #AyushmannKhurrana is back in a role we all wanted. He knows where the sarcasm works perfectly. All supporting casts were too good. ”

Another wrote, “Such a great family entertainer #DreamGirl2.@ayushmannk is back with his most loved character ‘Pooja’. Full on fun and worth watching.” A fan praised the film and said, “Absolute Laugh Riotttfrom Start till The End!! A Must Watch for All.”

What didn’t work?
Many of his fans were not happy after seeing the film. One of the viewers wrote, “I don’t think that #DreamGirl2 is going to make any impact. Same old jokes, same old script, same old gyaan.”

Another commented, “Ayushman Khurana is the cringiest he can ever be in #DreamGirl2. Even the core fanbase of Ayushman Khurana will not be able to digest this. Worst Ever!”

And then there is Ananya Panday. It feels that Raaj Shaandilyaa didn’t give her something that could show her acting skills in this film. With very little to do in the movie, she looked like she was doing a cameo in the film. Guess it’s time she gets to play an intense role in a dark thriller or something meatier that will click with people.
