Dallas Shooting: Two Women Killed, Suspect Arrested for Double Homicide

A tragic shooting in Dallas results in the death of two women, with a female suspect now in custody.

A tragic incident unfolded in Dallas Tuesday night as two women lost their lives in a double homicide at an apartment complex, with the alleged shooter now in custody.

According to the Dallas Police Department, 65-year-old Doris Walker faces charges of capital murder in connection with the shooting deaths of 17-year-old Drenesia Willis and 40-year-old LaNeshaia Pinkard.

The grim event occurred on Tuesday, April 23, in the 300 block of South Boulevard, shortly before 8 p.m.

Responding to reports of gunfire, Dallas Police arrived at the scene to find Willis and Pinkard suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save them, both victims succumbed to their injuries after being transported to a local hospital.

Homicide investigators, following thorough examination, identified Walker as the perpetrator responsible for the tragic loss of Willis and Pinkard’s lives. Details surrounding the motive or circumstances leading to the shooting remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.
