Dallas Nonprofit U&I Gears Up for Annual ‘The Dash’ Fundraising Run

Dallas nonprofit U&I, dedicated to empowering at-risk children, adults, and veterans with disabilities, is gearing up for its impactful annual event – ‘The Dash‘ fundraising run. Scheduled to take place at Klyde Warren Park on March 23, the run aims to generate proceeds for vital programs at U&I.

U&I CEO Hugh Breland emphasizes the nonprofit’s mission to advocate for marginalized communities, ensuring individuals not only secure jobs but find the right ones. The funds from ‘The Dash‘ contribute to essential programs such as Life Skills classes for disabled adults and computer classes for disabled veterans.

The nonprofit strives to meet the needs of its 200 in-house and 2,000 off-site clients, recognizing the importance of individualized support. With a motto that “underdogs run faster,” U&I remains committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
