The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder will face off in Game 6 of their playoff series on Saturday night at the American Airlines Center (AAC) in Dallas, causing a disruption to another scheduled event.
The Pepe Aguilar concert, originally set for Saturday at the AAC, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 29, due to the Mavericks‘ loss in Game 4, which ensured the series would extend to a sixth game. Fans who purchased tickets for the original date can still use them for the rescheduled show.
This is the third event at the AAC that has been impacted by the NBA Playoffs. Previously, concerts by Bad Bunny and Nicki Minaj also had to be rescheduled to accommodate the Mavericks’ playoff schedule.
The Mavericks and Thunder will play Game 5 in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night, with the series currently extending to at least six games.
Fans of both basketball and music are adjusting their plans as the AAC continues to balance multiple high-profile events during this busy playoff season.
