Dallas Arboretum Welcomes New CEO Sabina Carr Amidst Festive ‘Holiday at the Arboretum’

Sabina Carr steps into her role as Dallas Arboretum’s president and CEO during the enchanting ‘Holiday at the Arboretum,’ witnessing the botanical garden adorned with over a million lights, Victorian-style gazebos, a Christmas Village, and the iconic Dazzling Musical Tree.

Amidst the radiant splendor of the ‘Holiday at the Arboretum,’ Sabina Carr assumes her position as the new president and CEO of the Dallas Arboretum. Carr, a Dallas native and SMU alumna, commenced her tenure in November, coinciding with the garden’s dazzling transformation into a winter wonderland adorned with over a million glittering lights.

Carr brings extensive botanical garden expertise, having served as the CEO of the San Antonio Botanical Garden and Vice President of Marketing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Her arrival marks an exciting chapter for the Arboretum, highlighted by the festive ambiance featuring Victorian gazebos representing the 12 Days of Christmas, a Christmas Village inspired by Europe’s Christkindlmarket, and the captivating 50-foot-tall Dazzling Musical Tree, adorned with 42,000 lights and festive tunes.

The ‘Holiday at the Arboretum’ extravaganza continues until January 5, 2024, offering visitors a magical experience amidst stunning displays and enchanting festivities.
