Vicky Kaushal is set to return to the big screen as the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in filmmaker Laxman Utekar’s upcoming movie Chhaava. Rashmika Mandanna will portray Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The makers unveiled the movie’s teaser on Monday, featuring Vicky in a fierce avatar on the battlefield, roaring and fighting enemies.
Chhaava is produced by Stree 2 producer Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films. Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman has composed the music for this historical drama. Alongside Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also features Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Suniel Shetty. Chhaava is scheduled to release in theaters on December 6.
