Bruno Mars‘ planned show on Saturday night in Tel Aviv, Israel, has been dropped, as per concert organizer Live Nation Israel.

On the organization’s confirmed Instagram on Saturday, a message posted to clients read, “Bruno Mars show planned to occur this evening is dropped. (sic)”

Mars played interestingly in Israel on Wednesday to a horde of 60,000, with a subsequent show anticipated on Saturday, per his visit plan.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared his country “at war,” after Palestinian militants from Gaza fired a deadly barrage of rockets and sent gunmen into Israeli territory Saturday morning. In response, Israel launched air strikes on Gaza, and fighting has continued throughout the day.

The unexpected assault and resulting battle significantly heighten the long-running struggle between the different sides.

Israeli specialists say no less than 200 individuals are dead and over 1,400 injured in Israel. In the meantime, Palestinian specialists say 232 Palestinians have died, and more than 1,600 are injured.

A new round of rockets fired by Gaza militants on Saturday evening made direct hits on multiple locations inside Israel, including in Tel Aviv, according to Israeli authorities.
