This isn’t Khurrana’s first brush with recognition from TIME. In 2023, TIME honored him with the TIME100 Impact Award, and in 2020, the magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.

He earned this recognition by making unconventional film choices and dedicating himself to social causes as a UNICEF ambassador, contributing significantly to Indian cinema. Notably, he was the only Indian recipient of the TIME100 Impact Award last year.
